Service Agreement

Our services are provided based on the information shared by the customer. The following terms apply to our service agreement:

• All services are provided based on the information shared by the customer at the time of booking.
• Any change in goods volume, type, or location may affect the final pricing.
• We reserve the right to adjust service charges if the actual requirements differ significantly from the initial estimate.
• Service timelines are estimates and may vary based on traffic, weather conditions, and other unforeseen circumstances.
• Additional services requested during the moving process may incur extra charges.

Payment Terms

The following payment terms apply to all our services:

• Advance payment may be required before service execution, as communicated during booking.
• Full payment must be completed as per the agreed terms and conditions.
• We accept various payment methods including cash, bank transfer, and digital payments.
• Payment for additional services must be settled before delivery of goods.
• In case of payment delays, we reserve the right to withhold services or delivery of goods.
• All prices quoted are inclusive of applicable taxes unless specified otherwise.

Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you have certain responsibilities to ensure smooth service delivery:

• Customers must provide accurate and complete information regarding goods to be moved.
• Fragile or valuable items must be declared in advance for appropriate handling.
• Ensure proper access to pickup and delivery locations for our vehicles and personnel.
• Obtain necessary permissions, parking permits, or elevator bookings if required.
• Ensure that all items to be moved are properly packed or ready for packing as agreed.
• Remove any prohibited items (flammable materials, explosives, etc.) before our team arrives.

Liability

Our liability in providing packing and moving services is defined as follows:

• Varahi Packers and Movers is not responsible for damages caused due to natural calamities, accidents, or circumstances beyond our control.
• Insurance coverage applies only if explicitly opted and paid for by the customer.
• We take utmost care in handling goods, but liability for delicate items is limited unless specially packed by our team.
• Any claims for damages must be reported in writing within 24 hours of delivery with supporting evidence.
• Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to the value of the service charges paid or the repair cost, whichever is lower.
• We are not liable for damages resulting from improper packing by the customer or failure to declare fragile items.

Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both parties:

• Service cancellations should be informed in advance via phone or email.
• Cancellation charges may apply depending on service status at the time of cancellation.
• If cancelled more than 48 hours before the scheduled service, only a minimal processing fee may apply.
• Cancellations within 24-48 hours of service may incur up to 30% of the estimated charges.
• Cancellations on the day of service or after our team has departed may incur up to 50% of estimated charges.
• Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7-10 business days.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the following legal framework:

• All disputes are subject to local jurisdiction only.
• These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country/state where services are provided.
• Any legal action or proceeding arising under these terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in our service area.
• If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
• Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
